children to dig into God’s Word at Egypt Expedition–a Vacation
Bible School like none
before.
“This year our church is excited
to dig into God’s Word at Egypt Expedition,” says Susie Arredondo,
the Egypt Expedition Coordinator for the church. “On this
expedition, kids won’t be bored with pointless puzzles or boring
busywork. Our Egypt Expedition program will provide fun, memorable,
Bible-learning activities for kids of all ages. Everyday at Egypt
Expedition will be packed with catchy, upbeat songs, yummy treats,
captivating Bible stories, team-building games, cool Artifact
Crafts, and more!”
“Egypt Expedition encourages kids
to thank God, trust God, obey God, love God, and believe God while
taking part in Daily Missions and a hands-on missions project,
KidConnect, that will help kids throughout our community,” says
Susie.
Egypt Expedition begins at Sunday, July
27, 2008] and continues through July 30, 2008. “Diggers” will meet
at College Mound UMC each day from 5:30 pm until 8:30 pm. For more
info, call Susie Arredondo at 214-455-1020. On Friday, August 1, 2008 we
will meet at the Terrell Pool for an end of VBS
party!!

INVITE) JOIN US FOR VACATION CHURCH SCHOOL JULY 27th
through 31st
We’ve all heard them. “It was this
big.” “You should have seen the one that got away.” People love to
tell stories of their fishing adventures. When it comes to faith,
most people clam up. Why is it we can’t talk about what God has done
in our lives as naturally as we can spin fishing tales?
Join us for VBS as we explore the
motivation behind sharing your faith. Discover God’s heart for those
who don’t know Him and the role we can play in introducing others to
Him. Along the way you will be equipped with tools that will help
you make sharing your faith a natural part of your life. Remember. . .we are all
called to “GO FISH!” It
really isn’t an option!!!
