Attached is the updated tournament schedule.
Some of you have asked what kind of food to bring for the "pounding" for Lucy on Friday.
I asked Lucy to give a list of her grocery list and have attached.
Again, for those that did not receive the letter with the schedules at the gym, Lucy lost her home and belongings to a fire on Monday morning last week. She has obtained some temporary housing (thanks to Earl and Luanne Bourland) for a couple of months. The home was not in her name and it looks like (even though she was informed differently) there was no insurance to cover her belongs. Everything was lost. She got out of her home in her pj's and no shoes. Your executive board felt like this was a small thing that we could do to help her out.
Lucy Hessel plays on the First Christian Church (compton) team and attends First Baptist Church. She is the assistant to the Athletic Director at Terrell High School.
Coaches, please make your team members aware of this event...
Items can be delivered to First Baptist Church gym on Thursday or Friday duing the tournament.
