Sunday School

Adult Sunday School / Progressive Class

  • Description: Utilizing United Methodist curriculum, the Progressives study the impact of the scriptures on our lives through the lens of Jesus’ instruction to love ourselves and each other as he loved us.
  • Meeting Day / Time: Sundays — gather at 9:45 a.m., class begins at 10:00 a.m.

Adult Sunday School / Soul Brothers

  • Description: The Soul Brothers are a group of men exploring scripture, theology, and church history through topical studies as they seek to grow in love for God’s creation and one another.
  • Meeting Day / Time: Sundays at 10:00 a.m.

    Adult Sunday School / New Beginnings

    • Description: Celebrating every day as a new beginning, this group reads, discusses, and questions various books with a scriptural or theological emphasis. Together, they explore personal faith journeys and spiritual growth.
    • Meeting Day / Time: Sundays at 10:00 a.m.

      Adult Groups


      United Women in Faith (UWF)

      • Description: We connect spiritual women to act boldly for justice and transform communities. Programs include the UWF Reading Program and events such as Christmas in July. Missions include 5 Star Giving, monthly meals at Serenity Corner, and Christmas gifts for residents of Country Haven Assisted Living.
      • Meeting Day / Time: 2nd Thursday of each month, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

        College Mound Men

        • Description: The College Mound Men serve the church through cooking and hospitality for annual events like the Fat Tuesday Pancake Supper, Easter Breakfast, and more. Their efforts are funded by one annual food sale.
        • Meeting Day / Time: As needed for planning events

            Grief Support Group

            • Description: Individuals in various stages of grief come together monthly to share and support one another. Confidentiality is emphasized and respected.
            • Meeting Day / Time: 2nd Wednesday of each month, 2:00 – 3:30 p.m.
            • Location: Fellowship Hall

              Bible Study

              • Description: Various Bible studies are offered throughout the year. Some use published curriculum, while others are pastor-led. A current class reviews The Chosen series with additional historical and biblical context.

                • Tuesday Evening: The Gospel of Mark by Amy-Jill Levine (via Zoom)
